Their moms are best friends. Have always been. So that means these two have known each other, basically, for forever. And as they tell the story, you can see their love unfolding right in front of you. And it made us chuckle just in the telling of it because how can you know someone your entire life and then one day realize that you are in love? Life has a way of giving us twists and turns and then, right there, at that exact moment, you just know that it’s time. It’s now or never.  And even though they grew up together, they didn’t really fall in love until they both moved out of their hometown, and landed up at the same place. Not just geographically but also in their hearts. Love stories are not meant to be the same or happen in the same way. They are meant to be unique to each and every person. But, how lucky are you when you fall in love with someone you have known your whole life?

Check out the beautiful moss covered rocks! Because they spent a part of their lives serving God in the wilderness, i thought it would be fitting to take their engagement photos in the woods. In the wild. Where the earth is cold and snow covered and the mud was hidden in every pocket of the earth. They were fantastic and obviously so at home in this environment!

June cannot come fast enough for these two love birds.
