Beats me why I have not shared this newborn session until now. I guess I was way busy way back when but let us start with his name. Roman. I am a sucker for these boy names. Noah. Jude. Liam. Jax. (my son’s name is Jaxon and we named him that so we could call him Jax and then Em for Emma.) I just love these short names for boys that make them sound all grown up at the same time. This little guy…. was so alert for his little session. I know we all love those sleepy baby photos but true to my love of crazy kids, i also love when a baby is a bit unsettled. An awake baby has all of those grunts – which you cannot see on photos but… awwww, and stretches and even a babies new eyes are so precious to see. Welcome to the world Baby Roman. You are so loved.

This seems to be the month for all the newborn sessions so i’ve got so much more baby goodness coming your way! Loving me all these tiny newborns that are not mine! (All baby love aside newborns are hard work and little sleep) And I am so thankful that you trust me with your beautiful new families. I feel like having a newborn is a sacred kind of space to be a part of, and I’m so happy to play a part.
